Auto driver stabbed to death in Bengaluru, police busy searching for the accused
Bengaluru:The new year started on a bloody note in Bengaluru when a 36-year-old auto rickshaw driver was stabbed to death in the early hours of Thursday. This incident worked to spread panic in the area. Police reached the spot, registered the case and started investigation.
Identification of the deceased and complaint
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Rechanna P. The complaint was filed by his close relative and flower seller Girish S. Has registered. Girish was informed about the incident by his friend Chandrashekhar alias Chandu. It was told that Rechanna was murdered with a knife in front of her house. Information about the incident was received on the night of 31 December and 1 January.
Complainant Girish reached the spot at around 12:19. Rechanna was found dead in a pool of blood in front of his house in KP Agrahara police station area, near Nandan Circle, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar. Initial investigation revealed that there were serious wounds caused by sharp weapons on his body.

Police said that there were serious knife marks on the body of the deceased, especially on the left side of the chest and left side of the back. The wounds were so serious that Rechanna died on the spot. In the preliminary investigation, it has been suspected that the murder may have been committed due to old enmity.
