Auto Expo 2025: BYD has showcased the concept of its new electric SUV Sealion 7 at Auto Expo 2025. This SUV is set to give a tough competition to the Skoda Enyaq EV and has all the features that make it a premium and safe option. BYD Sealion 7 will be provided with features like 15.6-inch rotating infotainment display, 11 airbags, panoramic moonroof, heads-up display, electronic tailgate and advanced phone connectivity. Additionally, BYD plans to expand its dealership network in India from 27 to 40 locations, which will further increase the availability of the car.

BYD Sealion 7 will be offered with two battery options: 82.5kWh and 91.3kWh. Along with this, if we talk about the driving range of this car, its performance variant can offer a range of up to 542 kilometers and the premium variant can offer a range of up to 567 kilometers on a single charge, which makes it a great option for long distance driving.

Booking and Delivery
Booking of Sealion 7 has started from 18 January 2025. For this a booking amount of Rs 70,000 will have to be paid. Besides, the company has also offered a discount of Rs 70,000 as an introductory offer. According to reports, the delivery of this car can start from March 7, 2025.

price and competition
The BYD Sealion 7 may be priced slightly higher than the BYD Seal sedan, and according to reports, its starting price may be around Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom). This electric SUV is being launched to challenge the Skoda Enyaq EV, and it may get a new identity in the Indian market.
