AUTO EXPO 2025: Hyundai introduced Creta 1.0T Flex Fuel Engine, know the price
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025: Automobile companies are presenting many vehicles in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 organized at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. This expo, which started from January 17, will showcase new technologies and models of electric vehicles till January 22. At the Auto Expo, Hyundai showcased the Creta 1.0T, which is equipped with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and is capable of running on E100 ethanol fuel. This engine, which is shared with the Venue and i20 models, produces 120 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. Let us tell you that this technology will not be given in the existing engine but will be given in the engine with 1 liter 3 cylinder.
Although this model is not visually different from other Creta variants, the Creta 1.0T shows Hyundai's commitment towards flex-fuel technology. This technology allows vehicles to run on a mixture of gasoline and ethanol or in this case pure ethanol.
Although this variant is not currently planned to be launched in the Indian market, the display of the Creta 1.0T at the Auto Expo demonstrates Hyundai's readiness to embrace alternative fuel options. Various models of Creta are already available in the Indian market including petrol, diesel and the recently introduced electric variants.
This performance is indicative of Hyundai's continued focus on developing and exploring sustainable powertrain solutions for vehicles. Meanwhile, Hyundai has also announced prices for its all-electric Creta SUV, which starts at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
