Automobile industry rejoices in Navratri, delivery of 2000 vehicles in last 4 days,
New Delhi: On the occasion of Navratri, vehicles are being purchased extensively in the automobile market, where two thousand vehicles have been delivered in just four days. Let us tell you that this time the sales have broken last year's record, because only 1700 vehicles were delivered in the first four days of Navratri. Based on this, the total price of vehicles sold so far is being estimated at around Rs 250 crore.
The number is expected to be six thousand
Out of these two thousand vehicles, 800 are four-wheelers and 1200 are two-wheelers. People's interest in four-wheelers is being seen even in expensive models. Due to tax exemption in hybrid and electric vehicles, the number of registrations has also been quite good. This year, the department had estimated the delivery of four thousand vehicles on Navratri, but two thousand vehicles have been sold within four days. In such a situation, now officials believe that the total sales can go up to six thousand. In view of this increasing demand, the department has also increased the number of staff to issue RCs on time.
Delivery of 175 luxury vehicles
Meanwhile, ARTO of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Dr. Siyaram Verma said, “This time more vehicles are being registered than expected. We are preparing for the registration of six thousand vehicles.” According to Hindu belief, Navratri is considered auspicious for new works, due to which people were booking vehicles since the month of September. Not only this, sales are also expected to increase during the festive season, especially during Dhanteras and Diwali. According to the information, around 175 luxury vehicles worth more than Rs 50 lakh have been delivered, whereas 95 luxury vehicles were sold in the same period last year. In this festive season, vehicle sales are increasing significantly due to the availability of semiconductor chips and tax exemption on electric and hybrid vehicles. So far, about 450 hybrid and electric vehicles have been registered, which is expected to increase the revenue of the transport department.
