After a temporary pause due to an injury, the much-anticipated sequel Awarapan 2 is officially back on track, with production now moving toward its final phase. According to a report by Box Office Worldwide, the film’s makers have locked the last shooting schedule, which is set to take place in Malaysia. Actor Emraan Hashmi is expected to begin filming there this week, with the schedule likely to continue for approximately three weeks. Actress Disha Patani will also be part of this international shoot, which will focus on completing key scenes against a foreign backdrop.

The production had been stalled for nearly 20 days due to Hashmi’s injury, but the latest update confirms that filming has resumed smoothly. A significant portion of the movie has already been completed, leaving only select sequences to be shot overseas. The filmmakers have maintained a high level of confidentiality around the project, with no official details about the storyline revealed so far. Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced under the Vishesh Films banner, the sequel continues to build curiosity while staying tightly guarded in terms of narrative elements.
