Iran News: The date of burial of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has finally been announced. On February 28, there was a joint attack on Iran by Israel and America in which Ali Khamenei was killed. But due to the ongoing war his body was not buried. Now the process of laying him to rest will be started on 4th July.
Ali Khamenei will be buried on July 9
According to the information received, Ali Khamenei was to be laid to rest in March itself. But the process of his burial was stopped amid the ongoing war between America and Israel. He will now be buried in his hometown Mashhad on July 9 with the funeral procession starting in Tehran on July 4.
Khamenei killed in US-Israel attack
Let us tell you that after the death of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1989, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took over the post of Supreme Leader of Iran. When America-Israel attacked Iran in February this year, 86-year-old Khamenei along with many other members of his family died. After which Khamenei’s son Mojtaba Khamenei replaced his father. However, Mojtaba Khamenei did not appear during this ongoing war.
