Like other countries, representatives from India will also attend the final farewell ceremony of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. According to information provided by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Minister of State for External Affairs Pavitra Margherita and Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain Khamenei will also represent India at the funeral in Iran. Both the leaders will participate in the programs related to the funeral on July 4. Apart from these two leaders, PDP supremo and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti, Congress leader Salman Khurshid will also participate in the program. In the guest list, former Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has also received an invitation from Iran.

According to the Government of India, Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain and Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita will represent India at the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Along with these two, many officials of the Foreign Ministry will also participate in the event in Iran. BJP national president Nitin Nabin, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress media and publicity department head Pawan Khera and former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid have also received invitations for the funeral ceremonies. There is information that Salman Khurshid will represent Congress.

At the same time, representatives of Art of Living have also reached Tehran and will attend the state funeral of Ayatollah Khamenei. Brahmachari Prajnachaitanya and Gautam Vig, representatives of Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, have reached Tehran, the capital of Iran. He will represent the organization at the state funeral ceremony of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
