Ayodhya Medical College student death case: Post mortem report raises serious questions on ‘heart attack’, the 5-hour ‘mystery’ that confused everyone

—Where was the medical college student five hours before his death?
— When he disappeared from the hospital at 2 o’clock in the night, why was the police not informed?
— Principal covering up the mistakes of doctors and staff

Ayodhya. Even though the post mortem report states that the death of the Rajarshi Medical College student was due to heart attack. The family members have kept their lips closed under the pressure of the post mortem report. But the death of a student in the medical college has left behind many big questions, which remain a mystery even after the post mortem report has come.

The post mortem report has brushed aside the suspicious death of Jitendra Pratap, a second year student of Diploma in Blood Transfusion, Rajarshi Dashrath Autonomous Medical College, Darshan Nagar Ayodhya, by calling it a heart attack, yet gross negligence on the part of the medical college staff and doctors has come to light in the case of Jitendra’s death.

Jitendra was admitted to the medical college on March 13, 2026, at around 5.30 pm, complaining of stomach ache. He went missing from the medical college under suspicious circumstances at around 2 o’clock in the night. On March 14, 2026, at seven in the morning, a friend from somewhere again brought him to the medical college. Where the doctor Dr. Arvind Kumar, who was treating Jitendra, declared him dead and said that Jitendra had died on the way while being brought. The doctor wrote ‘Broaddad’ in the memo and sent the information to the police through a memo at 8.30.

The big question that is being raised regarding the death of student Jitendra is that if Jitendra was not on the bed of the medical college from 2 o’clock in the night to 7 in the morning, then where was he? Under what suspicious circumstances did he go missing? Where was Jitendra for the entire five hours? Had he gone somewhere on his own or had he been made to disappear? The biggest question is that when a patient leaves the hospital without informing, the police is informed about it, declaring him a Lama. But neither the doctor in the medical college nor any of the staff present in the ward gave any information to the police about Jitendra absconding from the medical college, being lost or missing. Whereas it is necessary to inform the police. Not giving information to the police could be part of a conspiracy behind Jitendra’s death, which is a subject of police investigation. Still, the patient remained missing from the bed for five hours and the matter of not giving any information to the police has brought the mystery of Jitendra’s death under suspicion.

— Principal seen defending his doctor and staff
In the case of the death of medical college student Jitendra, Principal Dr. Dinesh Singh Martolia was seen covering up the mistakes of the doctors and staff. He said that at night he had told me that he had got relief. Saying this he went home. When the Principal was asked that when a patient leaves without informing, the staff makes a memo and writes “Llama” on it and sends the information to the police. If he leaves the hospital after informing, then in the BHT (patient admission file) it is shown that he left voluntarily, which has not been done. Principal Dr. Dinesh Singh Martolia told that I was not present. However, he also said that if such a mistake has been made then it is a serious matter. For now, we will investigate it at our level.
