Opposition uprooted by PM Modi's statement on Mahakumbh, SP MP said- would pay tribute to the dead
New Delhi: The resentment in the opposition has increased since the statements made in the Lok Sabha about the statements of PM Narendra Modi about the Mahakumbh and praise for the event. In the House, the PM praised the successful and huge event of Mahakumbh and linked it with the construction of Ram temple and described it as a country -wide fair. He said that the event has played an important role in connecting the country's religious and cultural heritage from all over the world. However, after the PM's speech, the angry opposition walked out of the House.
PM Modi described the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj as the world's largest spiritual fair and also praised the Yogi government for its successful organization. But after his speech, the atmosphere in the house became heated. The SP leaders created a ruckus over the statement, saying that Mahakumbh was presented an incomplete picture.

Ayodhya MP said- Why not mention those who died in the fair
After the statement made in Parliament about PM Modi's Mahakumbh, the leaders of the opposition alleged that the ruling do not give him a chance to speak in Parliament. Ayodhya MP from Samajwadi Party Avadhesh Prasad said that PM Modi spoke many big things about organizing Mahakumbh but did not say a word about those who died during the stampede at the fair. This reflects their insensitivity. During the PM's speech, he was not even expressed sadly to those who died in the incident. That is why we decided to walkout from the House.
'Tribute to the dead of Mahakumbh should have been paid in the House'
The opposition said that Mahakumbha was organized very large and crores of devotees also took a dip. We appreciate the event, but the PM should have paid tribute to at least the dead while discussing the Mahakumbh in the House. This is their moral obligation.
