Ayodhya: Ram Lalla was consecrated in 2024, why is the flag hoisting happening now?

The flag hoisting program is going to be held at Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on 25th November. The festival of Vivah Panchami will be celebrated on this day. A saffron colored flag will be hoisted on the peak of Ram temple.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Ayodhya at around 10 am for this program. It is believed that in Treta Yuga, the marriage of Ram and Sita took place on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month. 25th November is also the same Panchami Tithi and every year on Vivah Panchami, the maximum date of marriage is fixed in the Hindu calendar.
