These 3 biggest posts are vacant in Ram Mandir Trust, will Ayodhya Ram Mandir get a new CEO as soon as PM Modi returns to India?
Ram Mandir Trust CEO Appointment: So far 8 accused have been arrested in the Ayodhya Ram temple offering theft case. On the other hand, due to the allegations against the trust, two trustees have left their posts. During this time, the possibility of reorganization of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has increased. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) had also recommended restructuring of the trust in its preliminary report. It was also recommended to make the new administrative officer the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In such a situation, the quarterly meeting of the Trust is also near. The quarterly meeting of the proposed trust is going to be held on July 11, which will be very important due to the offering theft case. Due to time constraints in the meeting, it is believed that the Central Government can also appoint a new CEO in the meanwhile. By the time the date of the meeting comes closer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also return to India, then the central government can take the final decision for the new CEO.
General Secretary of the Trust resigned
After the first report of SIT came, the Trust had lodged an FIR against the accused. After which the police cracked down on 8 accused. Besides, due to their closeness to the accused, the pressure on Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra to resign also increased. According to the information received, due to pressure from the Sangh and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, both the officials have submitted their resignations on the instructions of the PMO.
However, many news were coming out regarding resignation also. On Saturday, Treasurer Swami Govinddev Giri posted a letter on the trust’s social media X handle. In this post he made his resignation public and said that it will be considered for acceptance in the trust meeting.
This name is in discussion for the new CEO
A decision on his resignation will be taken after discussion and deliberations with the trustees in the quarterly meeting to be held on July 11. At present, no official announcement has been made for the appointment of the CEO of the Trust, but the names of two retired administrative officers for this post are in the news.
The name of Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee for the Ram Mandir Trust, has come to the fore. On the other hand, the name of retired IAS Yogeshwar Ram Mishra is also being taken.
Yogeshwar Ram Mishra, a 2005 batch IAS officer and resident of Prayagraj, is currently working as Member (Administrative) in the Uttar Pradesh State Public Service Tribunal. He also served as the District Magistrate of Ayodhya from January to March 2016.

Three posts will become vacant if resignations are accepted
If the resignations of both the trustees are accepted, three posts will become vacant in the trust. One post has been vacant for almost a year since the death of Bimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, head of the royal family of Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, some other trustees including trust chairman Mahant Nritya Gopal Das and member-lawyer K. Parasaran is involved. He is already not active due to health problems and old age. They are able to attend meetings only online. In such a situation, if the trust is reconstituted, new names can also be considered in place of these trustees.
Change in trust rules necessary for CEO post
If the Central Government appoints a CEO for the Trust, the first thing that will have to be changed is the rules. Legal experts say that a CEO cannot be appointed without changing the rules of the trust, as there is no provision for the post of CEO in the existing rules.
