Although Abdullah Azam Khan may have got relief from the court in the double passport case, the way out of jail has not been cleared. Actually, there are some cases which are going on in the Supreme Court in which the hearing is still going on.

It is noteworthy that in the two passport cases, the MP/MLA Magistrate Court had sentenced Abdullah Azam to 7 years imprisonment on 5 December 2025. An appeal was filed against this decision by Abdullah Azam in the MP/MLA Sessions Court, the debate on which was completed on May 25. While giving its verdict in this case on Friday, the court accepted the appeal of Abdullah Azam and canceled the earlier punishment.

Let us tell you, BJP MLA Akash Saxena had filed a case in the Civil Lines police station of Rampur on July 30, 2019. The allegation was that Abdullah Azam got two passports made showing different dates of birth. In one passport, the date of birth was recorded as 1 January 1993 while in the other, it was alleged that 30 September 1990 was recorded. Allegations were also made of traveling abroad using both the passports. This matter was pending in MP/MLA court.
