Not only the box office of ‘Bahubali’, but also the popularity is ruled: Prabhas number-1 in Ormax list, South stars beat Shahrukh-Salman and captured it!

New Delhi: These days, the magic of South Indian stars is so powerful in Indian cinema that even the big names of Bollywood are looking pale in front of them. The reputed tracking agency of the entertainment world ‘Ormax Media’ has released the list of Most Popular Male Actors of February 2026, which has once again made the power balance of the film industry clear. This list has not only shown the dominance of South stars, but they have completely ousted Bollywood from the top 3 positions.

In this report which came out after a long wait of the fans, ‘Baahubali’ fame superstar Prabhas has once again proved his dominance. Like last several months, this time too Prabhas is firmly occupying the throne of number one. Behind him comes the name of Tamil cinema veteran Thalapathy Vijay, who, maintaining his consistency, continues to remain at the second position. At the same time, on the basis of the global success of ‘Pushpa 2’ and his swag, Allu Arjun has captured the third place this time.

This list is a bit shocking for Bollywood, because Shahrukh Khan, known as ‘King Khan’, has dropped out of the top three and has slipped to the fourth position. Though he is at the top among Bollywood actors, he failed to topple the South’s triumvirate (Prabhas, Vijay, Arjun). ‘RRR’ fame Ram Charan has made his place at fifth place in the list and Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has made his place at sixth place. At the same time, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar is at seventh position and ‘Man of Mass’ Jr. NTR is at eighth position.

There has been a decline in the popularity of Bollywood’s ‘Dabangg’ i.e. Salman Khan this time and he has slipped to the ninth position. It is interesting to see that 80 percent of this prestigious list of top 10 is occupied by South Indian stars, while only two names from Bollywood have been able to make their place. These figures clearly indicate that the preferences of the Indian audience have now completely bent towards pan-India stardom by breaking the linguistic boundaries.
