What is important is a little incomplete

Osho Life Lesson: You are bound to be surprised to see my face first on the next page because my face neither makes decisions nor coordinates with this special issue. Because neither am I a famous personality nor do I have any place in the category of intellectuals. So, as a magazine editor, am I taking advantage of the position and the pages? No. Neither I have any such intention nor any trick. To be honest, this is my compulsion. But this helplessness of mine is not related to any negative state like helplessness or helplessness. For me, compulsion means that compulsion for which my writing is the only option and this option is also the basis of this issue to a great extent.

There was only one reason for me writing this page in the first place and that was why this issue? Because in our society there are not only intellectuals but also hyper intellectuals who may not be able to breathe in their chest but their mind is itching, especially such people who have to take the help of Facebook to show their intelligence. I am surprised that while many Osho lovers are curious to read and know what the celebrities say or what their opinions are about Osho, there are some who are busy in condemning or criticizing what these celebrities will tell us about Osho. What is the benefit of their opinion or viewpoint? These intellectuals never meditated? Or I have tried this to increase the sales of my magazine, etc. However, this effort of mine is not at all to prove those few people wrong or to prove myself right because the figure of these ‘few people’ is always present in every time and every era, which is not a victim of time and circumstances but of one’s own wisdom.

Anyway, this year in August 2017, I had just landed in Pune for the ‘Monsoon Festival’ and when I took a taxi to the Commune, the gentleman who was sitting in the taxi before me, while I was getting down and I was sitting, talked about only one question in which he asked, ‘You are going to the Commune, then will you have sex there?’ As soon as I heard this, a smile appeared on my face and the thought in my mind, ‘This is the situation even today.’ Well there was something more to be added to my experience. After two days in the commune, I also met a friend who was sad even in the beautiful energy and festive atmosphere, because he had come home very happily saying that he was going to Poona to ‘Osho Commune’ but from behind his wife had searched everything about Osho and Osho Commune on the internet. And as usually happens, seeing her feelings and the material available on the net, she became filled with negative feelings towards Osho and Osho’s people and the matter reached the point of divorce.

Not only this, when I asked the common man about Osho in the city of Jabalpur where Osho spent so much time, I got the answer that ‘Osho was a professor of English, who lived with English women. With whom he had fled abroad but the foreigners also expelled him from there. All these things surprise me, irritate me and make me feel irresponsible because I am not just an Osho lover or a Sanyasi, I am also a writer-editor. I feel sad that even today the real image of Osho is not reaching the people. I cannot sit with folded hands thinking that everyone has their own understanding, bottom, journey, we have not taken the contract to convince anyone…. I also did not take the contract but it is not that I will not try. Osho’s many sermons, books, so many characters, stories, examples, methods contained in them are all attempts to awaken man, so why should I give up? Although Osho is a proof in himself, he does not need any lawyer or advocacy. Every argument and broker is dwarf and meaningless in front of their existence but still there is something which is necessary, which can and should be done and this issue is a small effort of the same.

However, even in 2017, people have this thinking towards Osho and Osho’s monks, when I thought seriously about this, I was struck by the simple, cheap psychology of man and that is his sheepish behavior. That means he goes where there is a crowd. He prepares himself not on what he hears but on what he hears from the crowd. At the same time, man has a habit since childhood that if a big, respected person says something, he easily accepts it, whether he is an elder in the family or a well-known celebrity face of the society. The advertising world understands this psychology of man very easily, that is why they use the faces of celebrities and their comments to convey even the smallest or new thing to the people.

Man has this habit of believing whatever the media or famous personalities put their seal of approval on. But this does not mean that I have forced the celebrities present in this issue to speak on Osho by giving them any inducement or money. No, those who do not know anything about Osho or know it only partially, let me tell them that Osho is read by celebrities from every field, be it a leader or an actor, a saint or a poet, a dancer or a singer, an astrologer or a psychologist, an artist or a sportsperson. Smart, intelligent people wherever they are, like Osho. But he has never been able to come forward.

Through this issue, I want people to see how much, what kind of people, to what extent Osho is loved and inspired. I am proud to say that this magazine is just a sample. Through this issue, I wanted to bring before you interviews of as many celebrities and intellectuals as possible, hence I am extremely sorry that I had to edit more than half of the thoughts. If I had not edited, at least three more issues could have been published. But don’t be disappointed, very soon its book form will also be published, in which you will be able to read the incomplete interviews published in the issue with other celebrities. Old readers associated with Osho and this magazine may be a little disappointed as to why no Osho monk was included in it, does he not come in the category of intellectuals? No, it is not so, he will definitely come. One thing is that his views have been published in this magazine in the past and secondly the man is very clever, he knows that Osho’s monk will definitely praise Osho and vote for him, so in such a situation his words become a little lighter. He thinks that it is important when someone else who is not an Osho Sanyasi praises Osho.

I am sure that those who do not muster the courage to read Osho or visit his camps and ashrams because of his image will be filled with a little positivity after reading the thoughts present in the magazine. That section of the society, which is still forced by the habit of carrying a gun on the shoulders of others, will get dozens of new shoulders in this issue. He will read Osho’s books with pride, considering him more than just a sex guru. He will enter Osho’s camps and ashrams with drums and with full acceptance, he will say with his chest raised from thirty-six to forty, ‘I read that Osho by whom this world has been honoured, so many respected people of the world have been honoured.’ Therefore, one who missed Osho missed life.

My second main reason for presenting my point in the beginning of the magazine is also that the name Osho has become a trademark. Yes, for those who do not know, let me tell them that according to the European Court, the name Osho has become a trademark which is now owned by ‘Osho International Foundation’.
Many people have complaints about this ownership because due to this trademark they are not able to do work related to Osho. Not only this, pages, posts, videos and websites etc. related to Osho are being removed from his social networking sites and YouTube. Due to which I have received thousands of messages and e-mails requesting me to write something on this.

However, in this matter I have talked to both the parties i.e. those who agree and disagree with this decision. The surprising thing is that both the parties have their own arguments and arguments and both the parties seem to be right with their arguments, but what is even more surprising is that the arguments of both are based on the sentences spoken in Osho’s sermons. That means Osho then said this, said that…. An attempt is being made to prove Osho right or wrong as per our understanding, using Osho’s own words. It is a strange situation, the whole game is based around words. Words have become the culprit and words have become the witness.
In such a situation I will only say this-

‘Osho did not give so many sermons, so many different words to prove himself knowledgeable. He wanted to take us into the wordless through words. He wanted us to travel beyond words to the limitless through words. Not only this, so that we do not get attached to any of his form or name, he also kept changing his names. His attempt was to take us from name to nameless. But Osho, who tried to free man from every kind of bondage, today his name has been captured as a trademark in the four English letters ‘Hrs.Hr’. All his hard work has got stuck between words and names. Today Osho is no longer the name of any enlightened person, mystic, Sadguru or superconsciousness. The name Osho has become the name of a product like any other product sold in the market. A brand has been created which has both owners and buyers. There are shops and markets too. There are rules, laws, prices and brokers as to when, where, how and how much to use this name.
If you ask any high-ranking saint or Buddha about his name or identity, he says, ‘What is there in the name?’ But after this incident, it becomes even more clear that everything is in the name. Whereas those who trademarked the name Osho say that ‘all this is being done as per the instructions which Osho himself gave them before leaving.’ He wants to keep Osho’s work as pure as twenty-four carat gold. Is Osho’s name and contribution so light and cheap that anyone can spoil it? No, Osho’s brilliance is so deep and intense that no power in the world can muddy or pollute it. If gold is really gold, then whether it is lying in the mud or in the drain, gold remains gold, its existence and existence cannot be affected, rather it gets further enhanced and enhanced by the fire. I don’t understand whether those who trademarked Osho are worried about gold or mud? Are they worried about Osho or themselves?

Attack comes from love and rule comes from the heart. Words have become weapons and meditation is engaged in destruction, what level of proof is this, what are the signs of the Sanyasi, his love and meditation, that today the sacred and divine sound of the name Osho is being dragged in the courts by his own people, and is being raised like a spectacle and not like a truth? Don’t know who wins in this and what kind of victory, this is a matter to think about? Because-
