Why did Shah Rukh Khan skip close friend Baba Siddique’s funeral?

New Delhi: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, known for attending public gatherings and paying his respects to friends and colleagues, was notably absent from the funeral of his close friend, Baba Siddique. While the Jawan actor has been seen attending other high-profile funerals, such as those of a photographer and Farah Khan’s mother, his decision to avoid the late NCP leader’s funeral has raised eyebrows.

The reason for Shah Rukh’s absence, as reported by Times Now, appears to be linked to the political and criminal implications surrounding Baba Siddique’s death. The three-time MLA from Bandra West was brutally murdered, with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility.

Why did Shah Rukh Khan not attend Baba Siddique’s funeral?

Sources close to SRK revealed that the actor has deliberately kept his distance from the funeral to avoid becoming entangled in the ongoing murder investigation and political drama. The actor, who shares a close relationship with both Baba Siddique and Salman, reportedly does not want his name associated with the murder case. This is especially true given the gang’s involvement and its potential dangers.

“Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t want to get associated with the politician’s murder case. The case is also related to Salman Khan, and King Khan wishes to stay away from this! Knowing how Lawrence Bishnoi’s circuit works, Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t want any harm on him anymore,” a source told the media house.

Baba Siddique murder case

Baba Siddique’s murder has sent shockwaves through Mumbai and Tinseltown. He was shot multiple times while visiting his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East on Saturday night (October 12). The incident has already led to the arrest of three suspects, but the investigation is far from over.

A post on Facebook from a profile associated with the Bishnoi gang has further fueled tension, claiming responsibility for the killing and warning anyone connected to Salman Khan or Dawood Ibrahim’s network to stay clear.
