Babar Azam: The first match of the 2-Test series is being played between Pakistan cricket team and West Indies in Multan. Pakistan currently seems to be in a strong position in this match but the performance of former captain Babar Azam has been very disappointing. He could not score big in both the innings.

flopped in the second innings also

Babar Azam was a flop in the first innings of Multan Test. He was out after scoring 8 runs in 20 balls. It was expected that his bat would speak in the second innings but he disappointed. They could not even cross the score of the first innings. In the second innings, he scored just 5 runs in 11 balls and was out LBW on the bowling of Jomel Varrican.

Sajid and Noman Ali gave lead

Spin bowlers Sajid Khan and Noman Ali gave Pakistan the lead in the first innings. Sajid took 4 wickets for 65 runs in 12 overs while Noman took 5 wickets for 39 runs in 11 overs. Abrar Ahmed got 1 wicket. Due to the brilliant bowling of these three bowlers, West Indies were reduced to 137 in 25.2 overs in the first innings and trailed Pakistan by 93 runs on the basis of first innings. Pakistan had scored 230 runs in the first innings.

Pakistan soon shrank

On the second day, Pakistan started its first innings at 143 for 4 wickets but as soon as Shakeel and Rizwan were out, Pakistan's innings was reduced. Shakeel was out after scoring 84 and Rizwan after scoring 71 runs. Jaden Sills and Jomel Warrican took 3 wickets each, Keniv Sinclair took 2 wickets while Gudakesh Moti took 1 wicket. Till the time of writing the news in the second innings, Pakistan had scored 109 runs for 3 wickets in 31 overs. Kamran Ghulam is unbeaten on 9 runs and Shakeel is unbeaten on 2 runs. Shan Masood was out after scoring 52 runs and Huraira was out after scoring 29 runs.
