Babar, Mendis shine with sessional partnership

Representing Peshawar Zalmi, Babar Azam played a brilliant knock in Karachi after being invited to bat first. Peshawar lost their first wicket without a single run on the board but then Babar along with Kusal Mendis put up a record-breaking partnership of 191 runs in just 97 deliveries.

Kusal scored a sensational hundred, making 109 runs in 52 deliveries, whereas Babar remained unbeaten till the end with 87 runs in 51 balls, including 10 fours and 2 sixes.
