Kolkata. From Wednesday, the construction of a new mosque has started in Murshidabad, West Bengal, which is being built as a copy of the old Babri Masjid of Ayodhya. Janata Unnayan Party (JUP) President Humayun Kabir is taking this project forward. The foundation of the mosque was laid about two months ago.
Humayun Kabir’s statement-
Kabir said that those who are opposing the construction should step back. He clarified that every person has the freedom to follow his own religion and build a religious place. Kabir thanked the supporters who supported him and said that with the help of Allah, the work has started safely.
Remembered the incident of 1992-
Kabir remembered the incident of Babri Masjid collapse on 6 December 1992. He said that being a Muslim, he wanted to make his small contribution through the construction of this mosque. His supporters at the construction site are excited and actively helping in the work.
Comment on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-
Humayun Kabir also criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and claimed that she will not become the Chief Minister again. Let us tell you, Kabir was earlier in Trinamool Congress (TMC), but after the announcement of making a copy of Babri Masjid, he was suspended by the party.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s reaction-
On this, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Babri structure will never be rebuilt and the question of reconstructing the mosque does not arise.
Announcement of Babri Yatra-
Humayun Kabir also announced to start Babri Yatra from Thursday. This journey will start from Palashi in Murshidabad and will reach Itahar in Dinajpur and will last for three days, reaching the mosque construction site.
