New Delhi: Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh starrer Baby Johnwhich is the remake of Tamil blockbuster hit slaughteredis all set for its grand release on Christmas, December 25 globally. Kalees’ directorial, backed by Atlee, is expected to have a strong opening at the box office.
The film also features Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff in important roles. Ahead of the film’s release, let’s look at its advance booking report and prediction for the opening day at the box office.
Baby John Day 1 collection
According to early estimates on industry tracker Sacnilk, the film had a decent opening at the box office through its advance bookings. The Atlee-produced film sold over 100K tickets for its opening day in pre-sales. As of December 24 evening, the film minted approximately Rs 4.50 crore to Rs 5 crore in its final advance sales.
As per the early pre-sales trend, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John is expected to open to around Rs 10 crore opening. The Christmas holiday is expected to boost the sales with spot bookings, which can push the collections to approximately Rs 13 crore to Rs 15 crore, as per Sacnilk. However, the film will face major competition from Allu Arjun’s superhit movie, Pushpa 2: The Rulewhich has grossed over Rs 1500 crore worldwide.

Baby John advance booking report
According to Sacnilk, Baby John has collected Rs 2.75 crore gross across all languages in its advance booking sales. The film has sold over 100k tickets for its first day.
