Badshah Gets Threat: Well-known rapper and singer Badshah has once again come under controversy. There is a lot of uproar from social media to Haryana regarding his recently released new song ‘Tatiri’. Many people have expressed strong objections to the lyrics and video of the song. It is being alleged that obscene and objectionable words have been used in this song, which tarnishes the image of Haryana’s culture and society.
After the controversy escalated, Badshah released a video on social media and apologized. However, despite this the matter does not seem to be calming down. Yes, now the news of him allegedly receiving death threats has come to light, due to which the whole matter has taken a more serious turn.
Controversy increased regarding the song
Actually, Badshah’s new song ‘Tattiri’ came into discussion as soon as it was released. Many people raised objections regarding the lyrics of the song and some scenes shown in its video. Especially some social organizations and people of Haryana say that such words have been used in this song which are derogatory for women and society. A heated debate regarding the song was also seen on social media. Many users demanded immediate removal of the song, while some people also supported it, calling it a part of art and hip-hop culture.
The king received death threats
Amidst the controversy, a screenshot of a Facebook post went viral on social media on Sunday. In this post, Badshah has been threatened with death allegedly by people associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. This post is said to be shared from a Facebook account named Randeep Malik Anil Pandit. It was written in the viral post that Badshah has tried to spoil the culture of Haryana through his songs. The post claimed that in a club in the year 2024, he was earlier warned, but now he is being directly threatened with firing.
It was also said in the post that this gang has also taken responsibility for the recent firing in Panipat. However, this post has not been officially confirmed yet and no clear statement has come out from the police on this matter.
The king had apologized
By the way, after the controversy escalated, Badshah had apologized to the people by sharing a video on his Instagram account. He said that his intention was not to hurt anyone’s sentiments. Badshah said in his message, “My new song has been released and I see that its lyrics and visuals have hurt a lot, especially the people of Haryana. First of all, I want to say that I am from Haryana myself. People who know me know that my identity is completely linked to Haryana. I am a proud Haryanvi.”
He further said that he comes from the hip-hop genre, where sharp and different words are often used in the songs to show competition. But his intention was never to make derogatory remarks about women or children. Badshah said that he has always tried to take forward the culture and identity of Haryana. If anyone is hurt by his song, he apologizes wholeheartedly and as a son of Haryana, appeals to the people to forgive him.
