Bahraich violence: After PWD notice was pasted, shops and houses started getting vacant, forces deployed at every nook and corner

Bahraich violence: After the violence in Maharajganj of Bahraich, swift action has now started. After the arrest of the accused, the crackdown has started on those doing illegal construction. The Public Works Department (PWD) has pasted notices regarding illegal construction on about two dozen houses including that of accused Abdul Hameed.

After the notice from PWD, people have started emptying their houses since Saturday morning. This notice has been pasted on about two dozen houses here. It is being said that bulldozer action is now certain against illegal construction. Sources say that the first action may take place at Abdul Hameed's house.

People started removing their belongings themselves
After the notice was pasted, people started removing samana from their shops and homes. In the notice, orders have been given to vacate the house in 3 days. It is being told that bulldozer action is scheduled on the houses on which notices have been pasted.

Let us tell you that even after controlling the violence in Maharajganj of Mahsi, Bahraich, there was silence on Friday for the sixth day. The sound of boots of IPS officers, commandos and police force kept giving relief to the people, but most of the people remained imprisoned in their homes amidst fear and apprehension. Only two-four shops were opened in the town.
