Bahraich Violence: Bulldozer will not run on the houses of 23 accused, court gave time till November 4 to the government and the victims to present evidence.

Lucknow. After the violence in Maharajganj town of Mahsi assembly constituency of Bahraich district of UP and the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra, there will be a ban on bulldozer action against the accused till November 4. The Lucknow bench of the High Court heard both the parties in this case on Wednesday. After this, the court has given time till November 4 to the government and the victims to present their evidence.

According to Kaleem Hashmi, lawyer of Abdul Hameed, the main accused in the Bahraich violence case, PWD had given notice to demolish the houses of 23 people. On this, a public interest litigation was filed in the High Court on behalf of the APCR organization. On which bulldozer action was stopped after immediate hearing. On Wednesday, the Lucknow bench of the High Court once again heard the victim and the government side. The court has ordered both the parties, the government and the victims, to present their respective evidence and documents in the case. The next hearing in the case will be on November 4. Till then the ban on notice given by PWD will continue in Bahraich.

In fact, during the idol immersion in Bahraich last week, there was a dispute between two communities regarding DJ in Maharajganj town, which later turned violent. During this time, one Ram Gopal Mishra was shot dead. There was a tense situation in this area for several days and there was a lot of vandalism and arson. The areas where violence had broken out. There PWD had issued notices to 23 people to demolish their houses. The names of the owners of these houses have been registered in an FIR related to the violence. The administration says that the buildings were constructed illegally and are standing on government land. Three people who received the notice had filed an application in the court against the bulldozer action.
