Initiative of Bhaichung Bhutia Football School, trial of children will be held in Bathinda on 27th October.

Bathinda : Bhaichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS), in partnership with Njogo, is going to conduct the Residential Academy Trials on October 27, 2024 at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium, Bathinda. The trials are specifically designed for U13 to U17 youth football talents. In this, the selected players will get a chance to join the prestigious BBFS Residential Academy. Players who were born between 2009 and 2016 are all eligible for this trial. It provides an ideal platform for aspiring footballers to showcase their skills and potentially begin their journey into professional football.

Under this initiative, along with the BBFS Residential Academy, the selected players will benefit from world-class training facilities, experienced coaches and holistic development programs designed to maximize their potential. This is an important step for academy players to gain a place in the Indian National Team. This will also promote their sports skills and personal development.

Talking about the initiative, Indian football legend Bhaichung Bhutia said, “We believe that a game like football should be accessible to every young talent in the country, no matter where they hail from. These trials are an opportunity for the young players of Punjab to take the first step towards their dreams. “Through BBFS and NJOGO, we are not just training the players but also providing an ideal platform for the players to promote their game and represent India at the highest level.”

Organized by BBFS and powered by Njogo, India's first full-stack sports learning platform, the initiative aims to strengthen the football ecosystem in India. Njogo offers training for badminton and tennis in partnership with Prakash Padukone Residential Academy and Nandan Bal Tennis Academy. It is committed to providing a seamless online and offline training experience for young athletes.
