Bajaj Auto's mcap fell by Rs 41,665.54 crore

New Delhi New Delhi: Shares of Bajaj Auto fell over 13 per cent on Thursday after the company reported a 31 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated profit after tax for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024. . The stock closed 12.87 per cent lower at Rs 10,122.30 on BSE. It fell 13.31 percent to Rs 10,071 during the day. It fell 13.11 percent to Rs 10,093.50 on NSE. The market valuation of the company declined by Rs 41,665.54 crore to Rs 2,82,672.93 crore. In terms of trading volume, 1.40 lakh shares of the firm were traded on BSE and 36.69 lakh shares on NSE during the day. Bajaj Auto on Wednesday reported a 31 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated profit after tax for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024, at Rs 1,385 crore. This growth has been hit by a one-time shock due to higher expenditure and increase in provision for deferred tax.
