Bajrang Punia's wrestling career is over! Ban imposed for 4 years, now difficult to return

NADA Ban Bajrang Punia For 4 Year: The National Anti-Doping Agency has given a big blow to Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia. The agency has banned him for 4 years. This ban has been imposed due to violation of the doping code. This is a big blow for Bajrang, because now he will not be able to participate in any national or international wrestling competition.

This decision is being considered a big blow to his career. After investigation, NADA found Bajrang guilty, on the basis of which this action was taken. This ban has created a stir in the Indian sports world.

Why was it banned?

NADA has banned Bajrang because he refused to give his sample for dope test during the national team selection trials on March 10, 2023. The doping disciplinary panel considered this a violation of Article 10.3.1 of the Indian Doping Rules and imposed a 4-year ban. This ban will come into effect from 23 April 2024.

Were suspended earlier also

This is not the first time that NADA has taken action against Bajrang Punia. He was also suspended in April 2023, but he challenged that decision. After this the disciplinary panel canceled the suspension. However, this time it is considered difficult for him to return after the ban.

Bajrang's argument

Bajrang has said that he never refused to give the sample. He says that he only wanted to know from NADA why his test kits were expired and why NADA did not respond to the email.

Is career over after ban?

Questions were raised on Bajrang's sports career only after his entry into politics. Now it is considered almost impossible for him to come back after such a long ban. Due to the ban, he will not only stay away from the game but will also not be able to apply for coaching jobs abroad. Regarding the ban, Bajrang Punia says that he will challenge. If he is not successful in reversing NADA's decision, it could be the end of his wrestling career.
