Balen Shah will become the new Prime Minister after the change of power in Nepal, Gen-Z movement
The way has been cleared for change of power in Nepal. The country’s interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki, while addressing the nation on the last day of her tenure, said that in the recent elections, the people have given a clear mandate in favor of change. Now Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balendra Shah is becoming the new Prime Minister of the impartial Balen country.
The impact of Gen-Z movement was visible in the elections
Karki, in his address, said that the results of the elections held on March 5 are in line with the spirit of the Gen-Z movement. This mandate also proved that any party can achieve majority under the Constitution.
The interim prime minister said his main objectives were to hold elections within six months and hand over power to a majority government, which has now been accomplished. He expressed hope from the new leadership to end corruption and increase employment.
Balendra Shah’s path clear
The Central Committee of RSP has elected Balendra Shah as the leader of the parliamentary party, paving the way for him to become the Prime Minister. He will take oath under President Ram Chandra Paudel on Friday.
There will be special religious rituals in the swearing in
To make the swearing-in ceremony special, traditional rituals have also been prepared. During this time, 108 Brahmins will chant mantras and 16 Buddhist monks will also participate in the worship.
New expectations from youth leadership
Karki said that the new youth leadership will take forward good governance, economic development and social justice in the country. He appealed to the public to unite and contribute to the development of the country.
