Ballia’s glory in UPSC: Monica Srivastava achieved 16th rank
Baliya. In the latest results of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), five candidates of Ballia district have brought glory to the district by achieving great success. This time Monica Srivastava, daughter of Kharsara village of Block 15, achieved the biggest achievement by getting All India 16th rank. Ravishekhar Singh, resident of Daulatpur village of Garhanchal area, brought honor to his family and the district by securing 176th rank.
Apart from this, Anindya Pandey has made the district proud by securing 158th rank, Shiksha Pathak has secured 453rd rank and Aditya Krishna Tiwari has secured 540th rank. For the second consecutive year, the youth of Ballia have proved their talent by performing brilliantly in a difficult examination like UPSC. Last year also, the district’s daughter Shakti Dubey had created history by securing first position in the entire country.
Monica brought glory to the district by securing 16th rank.
Monica Srivastava, resident of Kharsara village of Block 15, has secured All India 16th rank this time. Earlier, she had got 455th rank, but she did not give up and continued working hard. Monica’s early education was from Aurangabad, Bihar, while she did B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Guwahati. Despite better career prospects in the technical field, he made civil services his goal and ultimately achieved great success.
Presently she was working as Training Officer in Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS). When she had come to the village on the occasion of Holi, she got the information about the result being declared and getting 16th rank. Her father Brajesh Kumar Srivastava is a retired engineer, while mother Bharti Srivastava is a headmistress in Aurangabad (Bihar). Monica attributed her success to her parents, teachers and continuous hard work.
Ravishekhar achieved success by studying online from home
Ravishekhar Singh, resident of Daulatpur village of Gadhanchal region, has secured 176th rank in UPSC. His father Dilip Singh has retired from the post of Assistant Post Master in Ballia. Ravishekhar told that he achieved this success by studying online from home. He received his primary education from Basantpur, intermediate from Nagaji Maldepur and graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi University.
He told that this was his third attempt and second interview. He used to study for 6 to 8 hours daily. Ravishekhar said that the youth preparing should be “not serious but sincere”.
Tears of happiness spilled from mother’s eyes
Ravishekhar’s mother Pushpa Devi became emotional after hearing the news of her son’s success. He told that Ravi has been brilliant since childhood and has always topped in studies. He said that today with the success of his son, the years of hard work of the entire family have been successful.
Anindya Pandey improved his rank
Anindya Pandey, son of Rampur resident Kamlesh Pandey, has secured 158th rank this time. Earlier, he had got 271st rank in the Civil Services Examination 2024. This time he showed his talent by jumping more than a hundred places.
Shiksha Pathak secured 453rd rank
Shiksha Pathak, resident of Piarouta village, has secured 453rd rank. He attributed his success to his family, teachers and continuous hard work. Shiksha said that if a person does not give up and tries in the right direction, he definitely achieves success.
Aditya sets out to fulfill his mother’s dreams
Aditya Krishna Tiwari, resident of Chitbaragaon, has secured 540th rank in the second attempt. He did B.Tech from Delhi Technical University (DTU) and also worked for two years.
However, to fulfill the dreams of his officer mother, he left his job and started preparing for civil services. After hard work he achieved this success and fulfilled his family’s dream.
