Balrampur: Public service center operator who left home promising to ‘come soon’ goes missing mysteriously, bike and slippers found on the bank of the dam

Tulsipur (Balrampur). A disturbing news has emerged from Tulsipur area in Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh. A 28-year-old youth, who runs a public service center in Tadwa market, is missing under suspicious circumstances since Thursday afternoon. There is chaos among the family members due to lack of trace of the young man, while the fear of something untoward has deepened due to his bike and mobile being found near Chittorgarh Dam. Police and administrative teams are standing at the spot and the search operation is going on.

‘What’s for dinner?’ – Last conversation with wife and then the phone became silent

As usual, the missing youth had left for the public service center located at Tadwa Bazaar, about a kilometer away from his house, on Thursday morning. According to family members, he had talked to his wife on phone at around 1:30 pm. When the wife informed him that the food was ready, the young man asked with great interest, “What is there for dinner?” And said he would be home shortly. But destiny had something else in store; Exactly half an hour later, i.e. at 2 pm, his mobile phone suddenly switched off.

Traces found near Chittorgarh Dam, fear of drowning creates panic

The family members were worried when the young man did not reach home, then an unknown person informed that a bike was parked in an abandoned condition near Chittorgarh Dam. When the family reached the spot, the youth’s bike, mobile phone and his slippers were found lying there. Seeing these marks, the ground slipped beneath the feet of the family. It is suspected that the youth has drowned in the deep water of the dam, although the police are still avoiding reaching any concrete conclusion.

The missing youth has two small children, whose age is said to be only 6 years and 3 years. Due to the sudden disappearance of their father, the innocent children and their mother are crying in bad condition. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Area Officer (CO) Tulsipur Dr. Jitendra Kumar reached the spot with heavy police force. The administration has urgently called a team of divers to search inside the dam.

The police are investigating the case not only from the angle of the accident but also from other aspects like any rivalry or mental tension.
