In the third and decisive match of the series, Bangladeshi opener Tanjid Hasan’s century overshadowed Salman Agha’s century and with the victory by 11 runs, Bangladesh won the series 2-1.
In the last match of the series on Sunday 15 March in Mirpur, Bangladesh batted first and made a strong score of 290 runs after losing 5 wickets in 50 overs. Opener Tanjid Hasan had the biggest contribution in taking Bangladesh to this point. This aggressive left-handed batsman scored the first century of his international career and played an excellent inning of 107 runs. Tanjeed had scored a quick 67 runs in the first ODI also. Apart from him, Liton Das and Tauheed Hridoy also played important roles. For Pakistan, fast bowler Haris Rauf took maximum 3 wickets.
