Ingredients required for cutlets
- 2 ripe bananas (medium size)
- 2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsp green coriander (chopped)
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons bread crumbs (extra for coating)
- oil for frying

Step-by-step recipe
- Peel ripe bananas and mash them in a bowl. Now add boiled mashed potatoes to it and mix well.
- After this, add onion, green chilli, ginger, green coriander, cumin powder, garam masala and salt to enhance the taste. Add bread crumbs to bind the mixture.
- A good hard mix will be ready. Give this mix the shape of cutlets. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round or oval cutlets. Lightly coat with bread crumbs to crisp the outer layer.
- Now heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlets on medium flame until they become golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Now serve this prepared cutlet with mint chutney, ketchup or tamarind chutney.
