Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 11 runs in the decisive ODI to win the series 2-1.

New Delhi: In the third and deciding match of the ODI series played between Bangladesh and Pakistan, Bangladesh registered a spectacular victory by 11 runs and won the series 2-1.
In this match, which took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, batting first, scored 290 runs for 5 wickets in 50 overs. Pakistan team was reduced to 279 runs and remained 11 runs away from victory.
Strong start for Bangladesh
Bangladesh made a great start after losing the toss and batting first. Opener Tanjeed Hasan Tamim displayed excellent batting and scored his first ODI century. He scored 107 runs in 107 balls. There was a strong partnership of 105 runs for the first wicket between Tanjeed and Saif Hasan. Saif Hasan scored 36 runs. Liton Das scored 41 runs and Tauheed Hriday scored 48 not out to put the team in a strong position. Tanjeed completed his half-century in 47 balls and achieved his century in 98 balls.
Pakistani batting disintegrated under pressure
Pakistan had a very poor start while chasing the target of 291 runs. The team lost three important wickets for just 17 runs. Pakistan came under pressure due to continuous falling of wickets. However, Salman Ali Aga tried his best to handle the team. He fought along with captain Shaheen Shah Afridi. Shaheen Afridi scored 37 runs, but he failed to lead the team to victory.
Salman Agha’s fighting innings
Salman Agha batted brilliantly in a very pressurized environment. He scored a half-century in 60 balls and later completed his century in 89 balls. Salman scored 106 runs in total 98 balls. His innings included many attractive fours and sixes, but he did not get enough support from other batsmen, due to which Pakistan could not win.
Deadly bowling of Taskin Ahmed
The bowlers played an important role in this victory of Bangladesh. Fast bowler Taskin Ahmed took 4 wickets for 49 runs in 10 overs and also bowled a maiden over. Apart from this, Rahman took 3 wickets, while young bowler Nahid Rana took two wickets.
