Bangladesh Violence: India issues advisory amid violence in Bangladesh, stones pelted at Indian Assistant High Commission
Bangladesh Violence: The Indian High Commission in Bangladesh issued a notice on Friday morning appealing to members of the Indian community and Indian students living in Bangladesh to avoid travelling.

Following the news of Hadi’s death, protesters threw bricks and stones at the Indian Assistant High Commission late Thursday night. At around 11 pm, a group staged a sit-in outside the mission office in Khulshi area and raised slogans against Hadi’s killing. Also raised anti-Awami League and anti-India slogans. Police said a group of protesters gathered at Gate No. 2 of the complex at the same time.
As soon as information about the protest was received, the police swung into action and used tear gas and lathi charge to disperse the crowd. The protesters then threw stones and then ran into the nearby streets. According to BD News, the police regained control of the area at around 2 am.
