Bangladesh Visa Services: Bangladesh restored visa services for Indians, a big decision of Tariq Rahman as soon as he came to power.

Bangladesh Visa Services : The ice in the relations between neighboring countries Bangladesh and India has started melting. After the formation of the new government in the country, many important decisions are being taken in the direction of sweetening the relations between the two countries. According to reports, on Friday Bangladesh High Commission resumed visa services for Indian citizens in New Delhi. With this it was confirmed that the worst phase of relations between Delhi and Dhaka is over. The ban on visa services between the two countries ended from December 2025. This decision is being considered as the first major sign of reducing tension between the two countries. Let us tell you that this step has been taken by Bangladesh Nationalist Party chief Tariq Rahman just a few days after becoming the Prime Minister. Tariq Rehman took oath as Prime Minister on 17 February 2026.

According to reports, the BNP leadership understands that India plays a very important role in the regional and economic affairs of Bangladesh. Bangladesh High Commission resumed consular services from Friday morning. Now all types of visa services are available for Indian citizens, like tourist visa, medical visa etc. Earlier there was no restriction on some categories like business and work visas, but now all services have been completely restored.
