Bangladeshi Rohingya Muslims attacked Arakan Army, ISI also joined in
Dhaka: After the defeat of the junta's government army on the Bangladesh border in Myanmar, the Arakan Army has captured this area. Now Bangladeshi media has claimed that taking advantage of this change, the Arakan Rohingya Slavery Army of Rohingya Muslims has attacked in Myanmar.
Not only this, ARSA has received weapons and explosives from Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. It is being told that Rohingya Muslims launched a major attack on the Arakan Army in Naga Yant village near the Bangladesh border in Myanmar on the night of 23 December, it has the full support of Pakistani ISI and Mohammad Yunus government of Bangladesh.

Along with this, ARSA is quite active in Rakhine province of northern Myanmar. Rohingya Muslims live here. Of these, lakhs of Rohingya Muslims have had to take refuge in Bangladesh. A large number of Rohingya Muslims have also fled to India. The Myanmar government says that the Rohingyas are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. The Arakan Rohingya Slavery Army was formerly known as Harakah Al Yakin. He is accused of killing several Myanmar policemen in Rakhine state.
The Myanmar government has said that ARSA commanders receive training abroad. Its leader is Ata Ullah who was born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia. Its spokesperson claims that ARSA has nothing to do with jihadi groups and they are fighting for the Rohingya people. Analysts say that apart from Pakistan, this Rohingya group also gets weapons from Afghanistan. Civil war has been raging in Myanmar since the military coup in 2021.
