New Delhi:- There is big news for crores of customers of Punjab National Bank. PNB customers should complete this work by 23 January. Otherwise their account will be closed. Following the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, Punjab National Bank has asked its customers to update their Know Your Customer information by January 23, 2025. This rule is applicable to those account holders whose accounts were pending for KYC update till September 30, 2024. Who have not yet updated their KYC.
Offline and Online KYC Process
Customers can submit documents like identity card, address proof, recent photograph, PAN or Form 60, income proof and mobile number at the nearest branch. Apart from this, customers can also complete the KYC process through PNB ONE/Internet Banking services or registered e-mail or post.
If KYC is not done then the account will become inactive.
PNB has clearly said that if KYC is not updated within the stipulated time, the operation of the account may be banned. Or the account may become inactive. That means you will not be able to do any transaction. Customers have been advised to visit the nearest PNB branch or the official website of the bank for any assistance. So that customers can go there and get KYC done. Customers should complete their KYC process on time. So that there is no problem in your banking transactions.
Customers have 8 days left to get KYC done
Punjab National Bank customers have 8 days left to get KYC done. If you do not get your savings account KYC done within eight days. So the bank account will become inactive. They will not be able to do any transaction. Unless the account holder gets the KYC of the account done. That is, until the documents are submitted. PNB bank account will not remain active.
