Bank employees are going on strike, complete your bank work today itself.
New Delhi. Public sector bank employees are going on strike against the policies of the central government. For this, the employees’ union has called a meeting on Wednesday evening at 5.15 pm. The strike call has been given by various bank unions including All India Bank Employees Association, All India Bank Officers Association and BEFI. Bank employees are going on strike from Thursday in protest against labor policies. The strike has been supported by the Central Trade Unions along with insurance sector unions like LIC and GIC. This strike will take place in the entire country.

Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Bank Employees Association, Mohan Krishna Shukla said that on February 12, a huge general meeting is being organized at Abhinav Kala Samaj located at Gandhi Hall, Indore from 10 am. He said that the Central Government has made changes in four labor codes. Bank employees are opposing this change. Privatization of public sector banks and insurance institutions, shortage of employees, outsourcing, abolition of old pension scheme and increasing service charges are affecting not only the employees but also the general public. Before the strike, there will be a demonstration at Punjab National Bank today, Wednesday 11th February, at 5.15 pm.
