Banka: Passion for making reels proved too much, boy and girl reached hospital before marriage, bike collided with a pillar

The craze of making reels on social media in Banka is proving fatal for today’s young generation. The latest case is of Sihudi main road of Amarpur police station area, where an uncontrolled bike collided with an electric pole while making rails near Bharko High School. In this horrific accident, the bike driver and the girl riding on him have been seriously injured.

For your information, let us tell you that the marriage of the injured boy and girl had been fixed. The marriage of injured youth Nitish Kumar, resident of Ghorghat Kalyanpur in Munger district, and Chandni Kumari, resident of Rajaun police station area, was to take place on 17th February. According to family members, Nitish had gone to Teldiha temple to worship with his future wife Chandni. While returning, this tragic accident happened.

According to eyewitnesses, the bike driver was coming at a very high speed from Amarpur side. Meanwhile, the girl sitting behind was making reels from her mobile. Due to high speed and distraction, the driver lost control and the bike directly collided with an electric pole on the roadside. The collision was so severe that both of them fell a long distance.

​After the accident, the ambulance did not reach the spot for a long time, due to which the injured kept suffering on the road for hours. After this, Bharko Panchayat head Diwakar Jha, showing humanity, immediately called dial 112. The police team reached the spot and took the injured to Amarpur Referral Hospital.

Hospital doctor Amit Kumar Sharma said that the young man’s leg is broken, while the girl has suffered serious head injuries. Seeing the serious condition of both of them after first aid, they have been referred to Bhagalpur Mayaganj Hospital for better treatment.
