Baramati by-election: After casting her vote in Baramati, Supriya said – ‘I will be happy if Sunetra becomes CM’
Mumbai, 23 April. By-elections are being held on two seats in Maharashtra and voting is going on on both the seats. By-election is being held on Baramati seat after the death of Ajit Pawar. Unti’s wife Sunetra Pawar is ready to become MLA from here in place of Ajit, but more than 20 independent candidates are challenging him. Meanwhile, Supriya Sule voted and said that she would be happy if Sunetra Pawar is made the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. After casting her vote in Barmati, MP Supriya Sule said that in a strong democracy everyone should vote, that is why we have come to vote. He told that Sharad Pawar could not come to vote because he has to undergo some tests and the doctor has forbidden him to travel.
Sunetra will win by a big margin
Supriya Sule said, “I have a feeling of sadness in my mind because we have lost our brother. Sunetra Pawar will win the election with good votes. We all have supported us and there is no big fight ahead. On the other hand, when Malikarjun Kharge received the notice from the Election Commission, he said that our leaders have also been accused many times, but when injustice was done to us, we did not give notice to anyone.
Rohit had to get clean chit
Rohit Pawar has been acquitted of charges of financial irregularities in Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank by the Special Sessions Court. The case was under investigation by ED. He has been acquitted from the case as the charges were not proven. Former MLA Prajakta Tanpure of Nationalist Congress Sharad Pawar faction has also been acquitted by ED of the charges of irregularities in the purchase of sugar factory. On this he said that Rohit Pawar had to get a clean chit. Because truth can be troubled but not defeated. Similarly, Rohit Pawar and many other people have got relief because they had not done anything.
I will also be happy if Sunetra Pawar becomes the Chief Minister.
Sunetra said, “Aditi Tatkare (Minister NCP) had given the statement that Sunetra Pawar will one day become the Chief Minister of the state. I wholeheartedly welcome that statement. We all will feel very happy if Sunetraji Pawar becomes the Chief Minister of the state.”
