Barbarity crossed limits in UP! The brutes dragged the girl in front of her fiance, then gang-raped her one by one in the forest.

Such a heart-wrenching news has come out from Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, that anyone’s heart will tremble after hearing it. Here in Munderwa police station area, five criminals not only flouted the law but also put humanity to shame. A young woman, who was going to visit the temple with her fiance, was kidnapped by miscreants and what happened next was no less than a nightmare.

Both were going to the temple, became victims on the way.

The victim is a resident of Lalganj police station area. She told the police that on April 3, she was going to pay obeisance at a Shiva temple in Munderwa with her future husband (fiance). Both of them were passing through the road beside the canal. When they stopped for some time on the way, some youths reached there riding on three bikes. The miscreants surrounded both of them and started interrogating them.

Brutality by taking her to the garden in front of her fiancé

The girl told that she and her fiance also told them that their marriage was fixed. The accused even talked to their parents on phone. After this, the accused tricked him into leaving the temple and made him sit on his bike and scooter. But instead of taking them to the temple, they took them to a deserted garden. There the miscreants beat up both of them and used caste based abuses. After this, all five gang-raped the girl in front of her fiance. The brutality did not stop here, the criminals also made an obscene video of this entire incident and threatened that if they told anyone, they would make it viral on the internet.

Police action and arrest of four accused

After this horrific incident, the victim gathered courage and narrated her ordeal at Munderwa police station on 8 April. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately came into action. Additional Superintendent of Police Shyam Kant said that a case was immediately registered on the complaint of the victim and the incident site was inspected closely.

The raid was conducted with the help of a special team and surveillance formed on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police. Police have arrested four accused in this case – Sugriv, Sachin, Pawan and Shivpujan. A case has been registered against them under various sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and SC/ST Act and they have been sent to jail. At present, the police is raiding various places in search of the fifth accused.
