The incident took place on Friday evening in Vijay Enclave in Dabri police station area. A police officer said, “We received a call at 8:30 pm informing that a man was brutally attacked and his hands were chopped off with a grinder. A police team immediately reached the spot and found Lokesh Gupta (32), a resident of Vijay Enclave, lying seriously injured, with profuse bleeding from his body.”
Hand chopped off for Rs 2 lakh
Lokesh Gupta, who is a confectioner by profession and also does catering and tent service work, recently catered a wedding ceremony organized in Ajay Pal’s family on April 20.
