UP News: A surprising case has come to light from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, where there was a situation of tension in the village over a feast given before the daughter’s marriage. The case is of Mohammadpur Jatan village of Bhojipura police station area, where the happiness of a family faded when some Muslim villagers of the village boycotted the Nikah ceremony.

According to the information, the marriage of the daughter of village resident farmer Tahir Ali was fixed on December 3. Before the marriage, Tahir Ali organized a feast for two days as per tradition. On December 1, he organized a feast of vegetarian food for his acquaintances from the Hindu community, while on December 2, there was a feast with non-vegetarian food for the Muslim community.
That’s why Maulvi and Maulana got angry
It is being told that some Maulvis and Maulanas got angry due to a separate feast being given for the Hindu community. It is alleged that on his instigation the Muslim villagers of the village boycotted the feast to be held on December 2. Due to this, a large number of people did not attend the feast and about Rs 4 to 5 lakh spent on the event was wasted.
The worried family reached the police station
Tahir Ali says that due to the boycott the atmosphere of the marriage was also affected. After marriage, when he sat among the people of his community in the village, he had to hear taunts. Mentally disturbed by this, he lodged a complaint at Bhojipura police station on Saturday and demanded action against those who spread hatred and spoil the atmosphere.
What is the condition of both the sides now?
However, the matter could not progress much further. On Sunday, Tahir Ali withdrew his complaint letter to the police. He told that the people who were angry with them have accepted their mistake and the dispute has been resolved through mutual talks. Therefore they do not want any kind of legal action now. Bhojipura police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar Singh told the media that an agreement has been reached between the two parties and at present the situation in the village is completely calm.
