Bathua Dal: You will definitely like this dish in this season.
Ingredients
2 cups bathua leaves
1 cup arhar dal/toor dal
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 pinch asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp ghee
Green chilli and salt as per taste
coriander leaves
Recipe
– First of all, wash the pigeon pea/tur dal properly and soak it in water for 15-20 minutes.
Now put it in the cooker and cook it properly. Don't forget to add turmeric powder and salt in it.
– Take off after about two to three whistles on low flame. Now wash the Bathua leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
– Now take some water in a pan and pour it and cook, keep cooking until the bathua becomes soft.
– Now take it out separately and prepare tadka with the help of ghee. Also add asafoetida, cumin, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies.
Now add dal and bathua in the tempering and also add salt as per taste. Cook it for 5-7 minutes.
– Finally you can add coriander leaves on it.
