  • Almonds – ½ cup
  • Walnuts – ½ cup
  • Cashew – ½ cup
  • Figs – 1/4 cup
  • Pistachios- 1/4 cup
  • Dates – 2 cups
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tablespoon
  • Cinnamon powder – ½ tablespoon
  • Saffron threads – as per choice
  • Vanilla essence- as per taste

  • First of all, fry almonds, walnuts, cashews and pistachios well in a pan.
  • When these dry fruits become light brown then turn off the gas.
  • After they cool down, put them in a blender and grind them.
  • Pour 1 cup water in a pan and add dates.
  • Keep boiling the dates with water until they mix well with water and form a paste.
  • Add cardamom and cinnamon powder to this date paste and mix.
  • Add vanilla essence and cashews, almonds, walnuts, pistachios and figs and mix.
  • The laddu mixture is ready, take it in clean hands and make small round shaped laddus.
  • These laddus can be stored in an airtight container and used for two weeks.
