BCCI earned Rs 9741.7 crore in the financial year 2023-24 Gujarati

According to the report, BCCI had earned Rs 9741.7 crore in the financial year 2023-24. Out of these, IPL alone had earned Rs 5761 crore. This means that IPL has made 59% financial contribution. According to the report, BCCI had earned Rs 361 crore from the sale of non-IPL media rights including broadcast rights of the international tournament. Not only this, the Board had earned Rs 987 crore only from interest in the last financial year. During this time, he has received Rs 1042 crore from the distribution of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Apart from IPL, BCCI also gets a lot of help by organizing big tournaments like Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy or CK Nayudu Trophy to increase the income. The board also benefits a lot from all these domestic tournaments. You can estimate this from the fact that the board has a reserve of about Rs 30 thousand crores.

BCCI also started Women’s Premier League (WPL) after the success of IPL. It earned Rs 378 crore from the 2023-24 season. Apart from this, when the Indian team goes to play cricket in other countries, they also earn money. The board has earned Rs 361 crore from the tour of the men’s cricket team. Not only this, BCCI had also earned Rs 400 crore from other things in 2023-24. This includes advertising and other things. In terms of earnings, boards of other countries are far behind BCCI.
