The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the list of Naman Award 2026. Veteran players and rising stars of Indian cricket will be honored in the ceremony organized this year. This event will be held on 15 March 2026 in New Delhi.
Sports News: BCCI is going to honor the legends and rising stars of Indian cricket at the Naman Awards 2026 to be held in New Delhi on 15th March 2026. This year’s biggest honor went to Colonel C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to former legendary player and World Cup champion Roger Binny and former great batsman and coach Rahul Dravid.
Dravid and Mithali will get lifetime achievement award
This year’s biggest honor went to Colonel C.K. Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to former veteran player and World Cup winner Rahul Dravid and women’s cricket great Mithali Raj. Rahul Dravid’s contribution in the field of player development and coaching in Indian cricket has been remarkable. At the same time, Mithali Raj will receive this award for her long and outstanding career in women’s cricket.
Honoring the best players in international performances
BCCI has also decided to reward other international players based on their performance in the 2024-25 season.
- Best International Male Cricketer (Polly Umrigar Award): Indian Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill will receive this honor for the second time.
- Best International Women Cricketer: Smriti Mandhana will be presented with this award for the fifth time in her career.
- Best performance in domestic cricket: Mumbai’s Ira Jadhav and Haryana’s Shefali Verma will be honored for their stellar performances.
- Best all-rounder: Ayush Mhatre and Harsh Dubey will be awarded for their excellent performance in domestic competitions.
Furthermore, Mumbai Cricket Association has been adjudged the best performing association for maintaining consistent excellent performance.

Honoring Team India’s historic trophy win
For the first time this year, BCCI will honor those five Indian teams who have made the country proud by winning the ICC Trophy. These teams include:
- Senior Men’s Team – Champions Trophy 2025 and T20 World Cup 2026 winners.
- Senior Women’s Team – ODI World Cup 2025 Winner.
- Under-19 Men’s Team – Under-19 World Cup winners.
- Under-19 Women’s Team – Under-19 World Cup winners.
This step has been taken to recognize the achievements of Indian cricket and boost the morale of the players.
