Before the Champions Trophy, Indian batsmen had a blast, announced their comeback after scoring a century.
Delhi: Batsmen Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad, who are currently out of the Indian team, are playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 these days. Both of them performed brilliantly in this domestic 50 over format tournament on Monday and attracted everyone's attention by scoring centuries. Ishaan is the captain of Jharkhand, while Ruturaj is handling the captaincy of Maharashtra. Both these players have shone while playing important innings for their respective teams, especially when the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is going to be held in a few weeks.

Ishan Kishan's stormy century innings
Ishan Kishan played a brilliant inning of 134 runs in 78 balls in the Group A match played against Manipur in Jaipur. Ishaan batted as an opener and hit 16 fours and 6 sixes. He completed his century in only 64 balls. Jharkhand easily achieved the target of 254 runs given by Manipur at the loss of 2 wickets in just 28.3 overs.
There was a partnership of 196 runs for the first wicket between Ishaan and Utkarsh Singh (68). This partnership ended after Ishaan was out. Ishan's bat is in great form in domestic cricket and before the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he has also scored centuries in the Buchi Babu Tournament, Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy.
Rituraj Gaikwad's unbeaten century
At the same time, Rituraj Gaikwad, captaining Maharashtra, played an unbeaten inning of 148 runs in 74 balls against Services in Mumbai. In this innings he hit 16 fours and 11 sixes, and completed his century in only 57 balls. Services gave a target of 205 runs, which was not a challenge for Ruturaj.
Maharashtra won brilliantly by 9 wickets. Rituraj made a partnership of 86 runs with Om Bhosale (24), which was broken in the 9th over. After this, Rituraj made an unbroken partnership of 119 runs with Siddhesh Veer. Siddhesh scored unbeaten 22 runs in 28 balls, which included two fours.
