Jugalbandi between PM Modi and Lula da Silva seen before G-20 in Brazil, video surfaced

Rio de Janeiro: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached the meeting venue to participate in the G-20 summit. On reaching there he was given a grand welcome. Host Brazilian President Lula da Silva welcomed him with a warm handshake and then a hug. After this, both the leaders kept talking for a long time, holding hands on shoulders. During this time, bonding between the two leaders was also seen.

PM Modi will attend the 19th G-20 summit in Brazil as a member of the 'Troika'. India is part of the G-20 'troika' along with Brazil and South Africa. The 'Troika' consists of the current, past and next G-20 chairpersons and the three members assist each other in preparations for the G-20 summit. Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Joe Biden are among the leaders attending the Rio de Janeiro summit on November 18-19 along with Modi.

Apart from attending the G-20 summit, Modi will also talk to world leaders. US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping are also participating in this conference. PM Modi will present India's side on various burning and global issues in the conference. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of three countries. In the second leg of his journey, he reached Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Monday morning, where he was warmly welcomed by the people of the Indian community.

People from the Indian community welcomed Modi with chants in Sanskrit. PM Modi said about this on the social media platform 'X', “I have reached Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to participate in the G-20 summit. I look forward to the deliberations at the summit and productive interactions with various world leaders.”

He further wrote, “On reaching Rio de Janeiro, I was deeply impressed by the warm and vibrant welcome received by the Indian community. “Their energy reflects the affection that connects us across all continents.” Last year, the G-20 summit was organized in the capital Delhi under the chairmanship of India. On the third and final leg of his visit, Modi will visit Guyana from November 19 to 21 at the invitation of President Mohammed Irfan Ali. This will be the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Guyana in 50 years.
