Before summer holidays, know what is Dual Inverter AC, how is it different from normal AC and why will it save your money?
News India Live, Digital Desk: As soon as the month of April starts, the sun has started becoming harsh in North and Central India. As the mercury is rising, a huge surge in the demand for air conditioners (AC) is also being seen in the markets. If you too are thinking of buying a new AC to get relief from this scorching heat, then do not get confused after hearing the name of ‘Dual Inverter AC’ in the showroom. Nowadays this technology remains the first choice of customers. Let us understand in detail what this new technology is, how different it is from a normal AC and how it can reduce the burden on your electricity bill. What is ‘Dual Inverter’ technology? Dual Inverter AC is actually a more advanced and modern version of the normal Inverter AC. A normal AC has a single rotor compressor, but dual rotor AC has two rotors installed inside its compressor. These two rotors rotate in opposite directions to each other, due to which the load of the compressor increases and the cooling process becomes much faster, smoother and more energy-efficient. The biggest difference between normal and dual inverter AC is that the compressor of a normal non-inverter AC switches off after the room temperature reaches the prescribed level and then starts again when the temperature increases. Due to this process of frequent on-off of the compressor, the power consumption is very high and the cooling also feels jerky. At the same time, in dual inverter AC the compressor never stops completely. It runs continuously at different speeds as per the need, due to which the temperature of the room remains stable and there is huge saving of electricity. The cooling power does not decrease even in extreme heat. Due to the dual rotary mechanism, the load on the compressor is distributed equally. Its biggest advantage is that even when the outside temperature reaches 48°C or 50°C, there is no impact on the cooling of the Dual Inverter AC. It has the ability to cool the room rapidly without making any noise even in high temperatures. Huge reduction in electricity bill by up to 50%. Now the biggest question is whether it really saves electricity? According to experts and reports, a dual inverter AC can save about 30% to 50% electricity compared to a normal AC. If you run the AC overnight or for a long time during the day, you will see a big and pleasant difference in your electricity bill at the end of the month. Apart from this, due to having two rotors, vibration and noise in it is also much less than normal AC.
