Ranchi: State Chief Minister-designate Hemant Soren reached his native village Nemra on Wednesday with his wife and Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren before taking oath as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren first went to the martyrdom site of grandmother Sobran Soren and paid tribute to her. Late Sobran Soren was murdered for opposing the Mahajani system. On the occasion of his death anniversary on 27th November, Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren went to Nemra and paid tribute to Dada Di.
