Beijing Plane Crash: Who owned the plane that crashed into CITIC Tower? Here’s what we know
A small aircraft that reportedly crashed into CITIC Tower (China Zun) in Beijing on Friday was registered to Dongshi Shuangyue (Beijing) General Aviation Co., Ltd.according to available aircraft registration records.
The aircraft involved has been identified as a Sunward SA60L “Aurora” light aircraft bearing the registration B-12PP.
Who owned the aircraft?
Registration records indicate that the aircraft was owned and operated by Dongshi Shuangyue (Beijing) General Aviation Co., Ltd.a Beijing-based general aviation company.
At present, there is no indication that the aircraft was privately owned by an individual. Instead, it appears to have been part of the company’s fleet of general aviation aircraft.

Crash under investigation
The aircraft reportedly struck CITIC Toweralso known as China ZunBeijing’s tallest skyscraper, at around 5:55 p.m. local time on June 26.
Videos circulating on social media showed debris falling from the building after the impact, prompting a large emergency response and road closures around the central business district.
Chinese authorities have not yet released official details regarding the flight’s purpose, the number of people on board, casualties, or the cause of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
